"We had a great party last night. One of the boys taught everyone the Cotton Eyed Joe dance and all the kids came up with some very creative ways to do the limbo! The highlight was when the 14yr old birthday boy got a skateboard. His whole face lit up. At one point he was almost crying and you could see that this party really meant a lot to him. Way to go Birthday Wishes!"

"Through my daughters, I know how much birthdays mean to children and how excited they get about them. I first became aware of Birthday Wishes when I was looking for a place to designate donations from my daughter's birthday. Birthday Wishes was perfect because its mission was something 5 year olds could grasp. I had been looking for some time for an organization that my family could become involved with – Birthday Wishes was more than I was even hoping for."

"My initial introduction to Birthday Wishes was through our Cub Scout Pack. Our group of 4th grade Scouts host the parties for the Mary Martha Learning Center in Hingham. The parties have lead us to helping the shelter in other ways - the boys have raked leaves and collected needed personal care items. It's been a wonderful learning experience for all of us.”
