These parties are held at the shelters. Every facet of the party is handled by Birthday Wishes volunteers - from planning to implementation - including individually wrapped birthday gifts, games, party favors, decorations, entertainment, and of the course the birthday cake. Birthday supply donations, gifts and volunteers are needed.

Upcoming Parties

All party volunteers must complete a background check before they are approved. Once approved, background checks are valid for 3 years. View Detailed instructions...

Massachusetts party volunteers:
  1. Download the CORI form.
  2. Bring the completed form to the nearest Birthday Wishes office with your ID, or
  3. Mail the completed, notarized form to:
    Birthday Wishes, P.O. Box 590645, Newton Centre, MA 02459.
Note: CORI approval takes 1-2 days. If you have any questions, please contact Courtney Vernadakis.

Rhode Island party volunteers:
  1. Download the BCI Form and instructions for submitting to the Office of the Attorney, General BCI Unit.
  2. Your BCI records should then be mailed or delivered to:
    Birthday Wishes, 142 Cottage Street, Pawtucket, RI 02860.

To sign up to volunteer or donate a birthday item or gift to a party, click the link right next to the item(s) you would like to donate. Your information will be passed on to a Birthday Wishes party coordinator, who will contact you with all details. Once your submission is confirmed, your first name will be posted next to the item(s) you are donating. You will be able to keep track of what you've signed up for, and others will be able to see what we still need for each party! Thanks so much!

Welcome to Birthday Wishes!

  • If this is the first time you are volunteering or donating to a Birthday Wishes party, you must first create an account. You will be asked to create a username and password. Please remember your password for future log-in.
  • If you would like to volunteer at a party, you must first complete a background check (valid for 3 years).
